I am going to teach you how to change your Gmail Background. This can be changed easily, just follow the few simple steps

Step 1
Login into your Gmail

Step 2
GOTO Settings located in the top right corner, just below your profile photo. Click that

Step 3
There you can find a theme, click the themes button

Step 4
There you can find plenty of photos, you can pick any one of these or you can also choose your own photo, while scrolling you will find more images click that, there you will find upload a photo, you can select a photo from your computer and can use it as your Gmail BG, make sure the photo you select is high res, i selected my photo but it not showing well,

As Gmail is transparent only on left side, so make your photo left aligned sothat you can see your face over there

And Gmail Theme also allow you to show random images

Step 5 
To select the random images scroll down to the last and click the "?" symbol texted as Random

This random images will randomly pick the images and continuously changes your Gmail background

After finalizing the image don't forget to save it

Click the save button so that the particular image or Random image will be implemented in your Gmail BG
