I am going to teach you how to block some selected websites on your computer, you can block Facebook, YouTube or any website you linked to, where as you cannot open it in any of your browser



Follow the simple steps, at the end of the video you will be learning how to block websites

Step 1 -  If you install windows in C:
GOTO C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc in your computer,

Else Goto relevant drive

Step 2 - Here you are going to edit the host file, you can edit using notepad

Step 3 - Here use the local host dns number, for most of the system, it is 127.0.0.1

Select and copy the number and paste in the last line with a space separated enter the website you like to block and save the file

My system is not allowed to save the file, to save the file you need admin access

I will help you to give admin access to this file. Now close  the file without saving

Follow the steps to give admin access for specific files

Right click on the file and go to properties, click "Security" tab, select user you like to give full admin access and click edit, again, select "edit" and select the user, in permission for user check full control to allow and click ok

And now follow the previous steps, and now I can save the file

Just close the file. You are done. Now go to your browser and open Facebook, you will get an Error message "Unable to connect"

You have learnt how to block any website in your computer

Great. To unblock just remove the text you have edited save and close.

Now open the Facebook, yes, now it is opening
